What to Expect at
Your First Appointment
- Our audiologist will greet you and have a conversation to understand your hearing needs. We’ll go over your medical and family history and discuss what your goals are for the appointment.
- An ear exam will then be performed using an otoscope to look at the inside of your ears.
- Once we’ve determined your ears look healthy, then you will sit in a soundproof booth for the hearing test. This is a quick and easy process.
- Your results will be recorded on an audiogram. We’ll go over this together and discuss your options.

Melliti Medical Group is a preferred hearing care provider for the NFL Players Association’s Professional Athletes Foundation. Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collect data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
